Who is Jonathan Smith?

Jonathan Smith was raised in the countryside of Ohio and Alabama during his childhood. During his studies at Samford University, his early poetry publications in the Samford Sojourn literary magazine drew inspiration from where he used to live and what he learned in those places.

After moving back to Ohio from his undergraduate studies, he joined the Ohio Poetry Association and began to publish his poetry again. He is currently seeking further publication in additional journals as he begins to pursue poetry again.

Outside of writing, he works in the quality engineering field and enjoys helping on his family’s farm.
